Kelly ABF Men:
This email is perhaps arriving later than expected, but I lost the list I passed around for a while. I found it today underneath my couch--the search from which this resulted was intense.
Nevertheless, we have about 10 guys expressing interest. Unfortunately, since we carry such a diversity in schedules, there is not a single day where everyone can meet together, in fact, no day looks real advantageous. Because of this, and due to my now solidified class schedule, we will hold the first meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9th, from 8-10pm, and we will probably be meeting on Thursday nights in general (as long as we get a committed group of at least five people). I apologize to any who find this disappointing, but don't take it personally -- except for Craig, he can take it personally ;) Further, do not worry, there will be another 12-week session offered in the future.
At this meeting we will discuss what times work best, whether 6-8, 7-9, 8-10, 9-11, whatever. So get home from work, eat dinner with your families, pamper your wives (if applicable), put your kids to bed (if applicable), pick up your houses (definitely applicable), and then get into your cars and drive to my house--ask Adam or Craig for directions.
Remember, this first meeting reflects no commitment to the 12 weeks; rather, it is just an informational meeting on what the 12 week boot camp will entail. Fair enough? Sounds like a time share…but don't worry.
I only need one thing from you, and that is a confirmation about this Thursday, Oct. 9th, either way. If I do not have enough "yes, I can come" responses, we will take a step back and re-evaluate.
Sincerely, Adam (the long-haired guy of whom Craig always makes fun, I think because of his jealousy of my Schwartznegger-like build)
PS If you want, when you confirm, you can additionally include the reason you believe Craig always makes fun of me in class. We will then vote on the best ones come Thursday. To the winner I will hand over my somewhat disputed and non-existant ping-pong trophy.
